A vegan take-out shop takes over the old Lost and Found space on Dundas West

The Goods, a popular vegan delivery service that used to run out of Dundas West bistro Brockton General, recently opened a standalone storefront just down the street. The new shop bills itself as the city’s “cleanest” takeout shop—“clean” in this case meaning meat-, dairy- and gluten-free. Chef Lisa Labute was trained in raw-food prep in Indonesia, and her short menu of soups, salads, smoothies and bowls incorporates elements of that philosophy. (Popular items include raw-cocoa smoothies, maple-chai oatmeal and brown rice bowls topped with things like kelp noodles and home-grown mung beans.) The good news for health-conscious cubicle dwellers: The Goods delivers to the downtown core Monday through Thursday.
