Sandra Oh deep in conversation with Adrienne Clarkson at Blindness party

Snuggled on the couch at eTalk’s Blindness after party were Sandra Oh, Danny Glover and former governor general Adrienne Clarkson. Clarkson and Oh chatted for quite some time, and although we couldn’t get close enough to eavesdrop, we’re pretty sure their conversation had something to do with the censorship threat of Bill C-10 amendments.

A scruffy-looking Adrien Brody walked around freely without anyone bothering him; we think no one could recognize him under his scraggly beard. What’s the point of walking the red carpet if you won’t suit up for a photo op or grant interviews?

Julianne Moore fluttered onto the red carpet like a fair-skinned butterfly, only to fly away as quickly as she came, never to be seen again by those chained down by the limitations of their wristbands.

Toronto Stories star Gil Bellows was in party mode, getting down on the dance floor toward the end of the night. He knew all the words to The Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony,” which is also the only Verve song we know the words to.—Melita Kuburas
