Summer might be coming to a close—heralding an end to a hectic, events-filled season in Toronto—but that doesn’t mean that the festivities stop there. Celebrate the start of the fall season with the return of RELISH The Foodie Event at Cloverdale. Running for its sixth year, this year’s edition has expanded to three days of gourmet bites, local delicacies, live musical performances and so much more.
Presented by QuadReal Property Group, RELISH brings families and the community together year after year in one of Toronto’s largest food festivals. Featuring more than 22 food trucks and tents and over 30 marketplace vendors, this family- and pup-friendly festival takes place between September 19 and 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
With flavourful foods and interactive activities fit for every kind of attendee, here’s what you can expect to see at the fun-filled event.

One of everything? Yes, please. Leave plenty of room for a plethora of culinary delights at RELISH’s food trucks and tents. Let your palate travel across the globe with authentic eats that celebrate cultures from around the world. Say aloha to flavour at Liko’s Hawaiian Barbeque, featuring grilled mahi mahi and perfectly seasoned Spam musubi; take your taste buds on a trip to the Caribbean with smoky jerk chicken and beef patties from Jerk Brothers; enjoy handcrafted, juicy schnitzels the size of your face at Berlin 95 Diner, or take a stroll through the streets of Manila with sisig and traditional samalamig at Eats Manila.
If you’re craving something out-of-this-world, fusion is the name of the game: savoury kalbi-marinated souvlaki makes for unforgettable Greek-Korean bites at the aptly named AthenSeoul. For a Mediterranean-Mexican twist, try the Taboon taco or their signature Fawaffle at Alijandro’s Kitchen, or meld Vietnamese soul and Mexican spice with their award-winning Saigon fried chicken tacos at Los Vietnamita Taqueria.

Once you’ve collected your eats, stop by the new Sip & RELISH garden and enjoy artisanal cocktails from Legend Spirits, including their Nutty Crantini, a one-of-a-kind creation featuring peanut butter whisky that perfectly captures the vibe of the event—bold, local and easy to enjoy.
After food trucks and Sip & RELISH, visit the local vendors in the Taste & Makers’ marketplace to round out your day at RELISH. From artisanal goods—like handmade pottery and gifts from JJJ Crochet or cute-and-cozy bookmarks from May Craft Tribe—to delightful snacks—like roasted hazelnuts from Dalton White Farms, nostalgic Dalgona treats from Hanbingo and irresistible butter tarts at Omi’s Sweet n Treats—there’s plenty to peruse. Pick up paw-friendly wipes for your pup at Pure Wet Wipes, or dare yourself to embark on a spicy adventure with Tijuana Tom’s House of Hot Sauce or Wicked Smart Hot Sauce.

Throughout your stay, enjoy free, live performances on the SKYGRiD stage all day long. DJ SoJune will keep the vibes full of energy and feel-good rhythms throughout the festival, but don’t miss out on eclectic performances like floor-shaking horns-and-bass infused beats from Project Brass on Friday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m., Lance Dobinson channeling the spirit of Elvis for a Rock ’n’ Roll Revival on Saturday, September 20 at 4:30 pm., or high-energy, interactive performances from Sonshine and Broccoli on Saturday, September 20 at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday, September 21 at 11:30 a.m.—guaranteed to get kids (and parents) burstingwith joy.

Foodies need not stop at food trucks and marketplaces to match their cravings. The fan-favourite interactive workshops return for another round of cheese tastings, Italian masterclasses and pasta parties from Andrea Nicholson from Butchies and Afrim Pristine from Cheese Boutique, with a portion of proceeds from all workshops benefiting Second Harvest, a non-profit committed to food rescue, sustainability and community engagement. Or, master the art of running a zero-waste kitchen with chef Daryll Bain, transforming kitchen scraps into flavourful broths.

For junior foodies, get hands on in the Build-a-Parfait and Lunchbox Lab workshops, in partnership with Metro. Then, step into the world of Little Urbanists, where kids become the city planners of tomorrow, presented by QuadReal in collaboration with Arts Etobicoke. Enjoy the Little Foodies Play Zone, play carnival and lawn games and explore much more.
