Long-awaited Porzia opens tonight in Parkdale

Porzia, the new restaurant from former Biff’s chef Basilio Pesce, is opening on Queen West tonight after weeks of delay. Originally scheduled for a fall launch, the 60-seat room is likely Parkdale’s last opening until the moratorium on new restaurants and bars expires. Expect a short menu of dressed-up versions of homestyle Italian food (the sample menu tops out at $20) drawn from Pesce’s family recipes.

Porzia, 1314 Queen St. W.., 647-342-5776, porzia.ca, @porziaparkdale
