100 hot beef pies will be up for grabs next week

On Tuesday, August 5, The Pie Commission is ringing in its one-year anniversary by giving away a bunch of hot, beefy pies. The west-end business, located just north of Mimico at 935 Queensway, isn’t exactly central, but its pies are reportedly worth the trek. This celebratory deal entitles the first 100 customers to a five-inch pie containing ground beef and onions in a “rich, beer-braised gravy.”
