Charlotte Langley, the new chef at Catch, is a talent on the rise. The P.E.I. expat took over the kitchen in May, infusing the menu with the kind of decadent imagination that makes a culinary destination. Her s’mores are an exercise in sensory overload: creamy bricks of boozy chocolate mousse topped with a graham cracker crumble and served with local, seasonal fruits roasted till gooey and caramelized. Then there’s the centrepiece: house-made marshmallow spun out into ethereal fluffs and torched tableside until it smokes, crackles and melts all over the place. The end result is fantastically sticky, warm and messy, in true campfire fashion. 744 St. Clair Ave. W., 416-658-0568.
