Meat and machine collide (literally) as sausages become iPhone wands

CJ Corporation's sausage being employed as iPhone meat wand

Redefining the concept of synergy for the corporate world, South Korea’s CJ Corporation has found a new raison d’être for its sausage: poking at iPhones. Kottke.org reports, “It seems that the sausages, electrostatically speaking, are close approximations of the human finger.” This makes the product useful as a stylus for those who want to use their touch-screen phone without taking their digits out of their mitts. Domestic sales of the tubes of meat have risen steadily as temperatures have plunged. We can’t say the same for Maple Leaf Hygrade BBQ-Flavoured Sausage Sticks, but they look like they might do the trick for numb-fingered Canadians.
