New Junction farmers’ market to launch on Saturday

With the weather officially sweltering, various farmers’ markets that had been hibernating for the winter are now getting underway. This year, a new market in the Junction’s Green P lot at 385 Pacific Ave. will be joining them on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The market, which launches this week, will feature 18 vendors including that rarest of breeds, three urban farmers (apparently none of the vendors will be resellers, which is a sticking point for many market patrons).
