Black Hoof co-owner Jen Agg announced yesterday on the restaurant’s blog that chef Grant van Gameren’s highly anticipated take on fine dining, Black Hoof and Company, won’t open until next spring. Back in February, the pair announced that the new venture, which was slated the replace the Hoof Café, would open in April, but delays have apparently made the spring opening they hoped for impossible. To tide over the many rabid Hoof fans, they’ve announced a new dining series called Hoof House that will feature some of the chefs, restaurateurs and bartenders that Agg and van Gameren have encountered on their trips out of town.
