Yesterday afternoon, Geoff Hopgood, chef and owner of Hopgood’s Foodliner and the man responsible for those epic, meat-mad brunches at the Hoof Café circa 2010, made a very special announcement on Twitter:

2 weeks from today #HopgoodsFoodliner will be serving brunch for one day only. #aug12 #hope istillgotit

The Dish recommends that hopeful diners bring empty stomachs, comfortable shoes (for waiting) and backup plans at, say, Barque, for when the line snakes around the block. [Twitter]
