Local foodies, rejoice: award-winning Spanish chef Ferran Adrià, of El Bulli fame, is set to grace Toronto with his presence. On March 10th, the culinary icon (and inventor of food foam) is giving a much-anticipated talk and Q&A session at the Glen Gould Studio on Front Street. For those who aren’t in the know, Adrià’s now-shuttered restaurant on the northern coast of Spain was frequently pegged as the world’s best. Regular admission to the Toronto talk is just $25, but Adrià fans who’d prefer a more personal experience can shell out an extra $700 for a VIP ticket, which gets you canapés from Momofuku Shõtõ, a copy of Adrià‘s 2700-page book series elBulli 2005-2007, and the chance to meet Adrià himself. Seating to the regular event is first-come-first-served, so we recommend arriving early.

Mar. 10. $25 (regular); $725 (VIP). Glen Gould Studio, 250 Front St. W., eventbrite.ca
