In just two years, F’Amelia, the cozy Cabbagetown trattoria, has become a sacred institution for carb-craving locals. Now owners Todd Vestby and John Dawson are expanding. After weeks of hints on Twitter about secret shenanigans going down in the space next door, the mysterious project has been unveiled: a Thursday-through-Saturday wine and tapas bar, appropriately named F’Amelia Extended. The new addition, which is set to open on September 28th, will have a short wine list, share plates from F’Amelia chef James Harrison and a 40-seat patio, which will hopefully be put to use before next sping.
