Running from July 7 to July 11, the Coors Slice of Somewhere Nice event gives downtown-dwelling Toronto folks a chance to experience the summer weather in a way that apartment balconies just can’t match. Groups of up to six people (as per Ontario regulations) can enjoy a slice of backyard paradise a well-deserved break at a private Mississauga venue, complete with a pool, a relaxing vibe, and a private bartender offering refreshing Coors Slice flavours — lime and the newest addition, grapefruit — and snacks to complement tranquil relaxation.
If making the long trek to Mississauga is a concern — no sweat! The beverage company is offering $250 Uber gift cards to participating groups to-and-from the venue, allowing all to spend the day without worrying about having a dedicated driver sit out the festivities. And, of course, Coors Slice is dedicated to following COVID-19 safety guidelines strictly: staff will be equipped with proper PPE, while hand-sanitizing stations will be provided and proper contact tracing performed. A professional sanitization crew is also there between bookings to make sure every group gets a safe and healthy experience.
