Ben & Izzy’s kosher deli opens in the city’s northwest end

Ben Venasio and Izzy Bernath, two first-time restauranteurs who refined the art of meat smoking with Venasio’s grandfather, have opened a hipster deli just north of the cluster of old-school delicatessens that dominate Bathurst Street between Eglinton and Lawrence.
