good thing it’s accessible to most #kidding.
When I saw this photo as a spread in the print edition I thought, hmm, odd choice. Not sure how you could make that rooftop pool look any more boring.
wow, worst photo ever. whos on the marketing team, don cherry? I love sitting by a rooftop pool with storm clouds in the distance.
I cannot believe that TLife would make a rooftop pool that most Torontonians cannot visit the #1 choice. Totally ridiculous, who are you targeting?
Ditto Nancy. http://www.torontolife.com/daily/hype/velvet-rope-hype/2010/06/18/thompson-hotel-opening-pillow-fights-pool-parties-and-an-hour-wait-for-the-rooftop/
TL is not real media, it simply sucks it up to get access where the rest of the city can’t. Your chances to get into the rooftop are none unless you know someone or get a room.
Why is TL promoting this venue? ahhh… wait… i got it…
to get access to the next event!
Love the Thompson roof! Best place for cocktails on a Friday! See you there

Are you serious?
Okay you are up high and can see far….oooooh….wow!
But for those of you who don’t get goosebumps every time you take an escalator or walk up a hill, when you actually take a second think think about what you are looking at, are you really that impressed?
Downtown Toronto’s landscape is flat and dull, and with the exception of very few buildings, the architecture ranges from average to downright ugly.
