Toronto Life’s Garden Party, a special one-night event to celebrate summer, draws a sellout crowd for the second year in a row

On June 16, Toronto Life partnered with the Toronto Botanical Garden with the support of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation to celebrate summer with the second annual Toronto Life Garden Party. Guests enjoyed Henkell sparkling wine upon arrival, and Eatertainment catered the intimate dinner with delicious hors d’oeuvres, carved-to-order beef tenderloin and mouthwatering Mediterranean paella. Everyone was kept well hydrated with Wellington Brewery’s beer, wine from the Kolonaki Group, Pommies cider, Revitasize juices and cold brew coffee from Wrestlers. A TBG honey tasting station and custom desserts by the Tempered Room sweetened the evening. Guests relaxed on Hauser furniture throughout the event and were treated to a soulful performance by Chantal Kreviazuk (whose sixth studio album, Hard Sail, is being released today), as well as surprise gifts from the sponsors. The evening wrapped up with a private guided tour of several of the grounds’ 17 themed gardens by knowledgeable tour guides, including the TBG’s executive director, Harry Jongerden.
