On October 25, Toronto Life celebrated the launch of the second edition of Toronto Life Cookbook with a VIP event taking place at the Delicious Food Show. The intimate event welcomed over 100 guests into the Toronto Life restaurant section at the show as Maryam Sanati, editor of Cookbook, kicked off the festivities with a series of live demonstrations featuring Moo Milk Bar’s Danielle Oron, The Gabardine’s Graham Pratt and The County General’s Jeff Carroll. Guests also sampled a handful of recipes from this year’s Cookbook, recreated by catering partner Presidential Gourmet. Featured recipes included Ici Bistro’s quiche, Aria’s farro salad, Rock Lobster’s lobster roll, The Gabardine’s macaroni and cheese, Jeff Carroll’s “The Eye of the Storm” cocktail, and Moo Milk Bar’s toffee bit cookie.
