At their concert at the Sound Academy on Friday, Montreal band Wolf Parade announced that the show would be their last for some time and possibly their last performance ever. According to Consequence of Sound:

According to attendees of the band’s concert in Toronto last night, Wolf Parade cast doubt on their future shortly before the final song of their set. Singer/keyboardist Spencer Krug reportedly told the audience that “this is the last show we’ll play for a long time,” with singer/guitarist Dan Boeckner then noting, “this is the last song we’re ever gonna play.”

On Saturday, a fan site of the group reported that Boeckner said while Wolf Parade will play a few dates next year, the band is taking a “serious break.” No word on the reason for the hiatus.
