Summer may be winding down (sorry, it’s true), but the amount of new content on streaming services isn’t. Check out Mo, a smart, laugh-out-loud series from stand-up comic Mohammed Amer, or Me Time, a new buddy comedy starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. For some high-octane thrills, try Samaritan, a gritty superhero/vigilante flick starring Sylvester Stallone, or tune in to the final season of Jason Momoa’s Ontario-filmed dystopian series See. You may already know comedian Mohammed Amer from his stand-up specials or his role on Ramy, but get ready for him to totally win you over in this grounded, hilarious comedy. Amer co-created the series (alongside Ramy Youssef) and stars as the titular Mo, a Palestinian refugee living in Houston and trying to navigate the journey to US citizenship while caring for his family. Selling the OC

Can’t get enough of Selling Sunset? Follow the drama to Orange County, the location of the Oppenheim Group’s newest office, where an entirely new real estate team will vie for the most exorbitant listings—and screen time. Now streaming 

Partner Track 

Emily in Paris meets the NYC legal scene (and a cast of characters that are more self-aware) in this dramedy inspired by Helen Wan’s novel of the same name. Arden Cho stars as Ingrid Yun, a whip-smart, fiercely dedicated lawyer aiming to be made partner at her big-deal law firm. But first she must take on a laundry list of obstacles—including a past flame. August 26

Me Time 

Sonny (Kevin Hart) is a stay-at-home dad who hasn’t had any time to himself for years. When his wife (Regina Hall) decides to take the kids on a solo vacation to give him time to unwind, Sonny ends up reconnecting with his best friend (Mark Wahlberg) for a chaotic, out-of-control weekend. Sylvester Stallone returns to his action roots in this flick about a superpowered vigilante known as Samaritan, who is thought to have died in battle 25 years ago. But then “Mr. Smith” moves in next door to 13-year-old Sam (Euphoria’s Javon Walton), who believes his new neighbour is actually the long-lost hero. August 26


Mike Tyson is one of the most infamous boxing icons in the sport’s history. Get the story behind the larger-than-life personality in this miniseries, which follows Tyson (played by Trevante Rhodes) and his turbulent career in an I, Tonyalike fashion. Now streaming

Star Trek: Lower Decks (Season 3) 

This popular adult animated series set in the Star Trek universe returns for season three with USS Cerritos captain Carol Freeman on trial, leaving the lower-deck crew to fend for themselves on their many hijinks-filled adventures—including a trip to Deep Space Nine. Now streaming
