An observation from TIFF’s opening night: some celebrities have mastered the art of mugging for the paps; others have not. The Fifth Estate red carpet saw sultry over-the-shoulder gazes from Nordic beauty Alicia Vikander, as well as here-I-am proclamatory arm sweeps from man-of-the-hour Benedict Cumberbatch. Later, the Blue is the Warmest Colour after party at the Thompson Hotel became pose-hard central, with a no-nonsense hands-on-hips stance from Canadian hip-hop ambassador Kardinal Offishall and the obligatory dead-eyed, slack-jawed pout from French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos. So we want to know: who worked it best?
