TIFF Red Carpet: Melissa George makes maternity wear glam at the gala for crime flick Felony

Some celebrities take a fashion time-out while pregnant, opting for mundane shapes and muted shades. Not so with Grey’s Anatomy star Melissa George. She cradled her growing bump in a fire engine–hued frock and matching red lip at yesterday’s gala for Felony, a crime thriller about a cop who tries to cover up a tragic mistake. The radiant George, who’s expecting a child with French millionaire Jean-David Blanc, posed for the press gallery with a coterie of fellow Aussies, including The Great Gatsby actor Joel Edgerton, who wrote and stars in the film, newcomers Sarah Roberts and Jai Courtney, and director Matthew Saville. Meanwhile, odd-Brit-out Tom Wilkinson smiled graciously despite being so clearly outnumbered. Good on ya.
