TIFF PARTY: Zac Efron, Dennis Quaid and Maika Monroe at the At Any Price post-premiere party

After a weekend of non-stop partying, it takes something pretty incredible to keep us out after midnight on a Sunday. And around 12:30 a.m. at the Virgin Mobile Arts & Cinema Centre at AMC Storys, as we were abusing the free photo booth (hey, we want to make sure we look good, too) and eating too many sliders, we got just what we needed to keep our spirits going: Zac Efron’s smize. True, after the star arrived, he stuck to the well-guarded VIP area at the At Any Price post-premiere party (along with co-stars Dennis Quaid and Maika Monroe). But Nicole Kidman’s pee buddy wasn’t entirely off limits. As admirers nervously approached the velvet rope, asking for photos, he casually said, “Yeah, sure” and either came over for a shot or let them come to him. Swoon! A man (almost) of the people. And while one guest was overheard whining, “He’s not as tall in person as I thought he’d be,” we felt like reminding her that it’s not the size that counts, it’s the number of abs.
