Steven Page’s recent tour has him living out of planes

Steven Page is working very hard to promote his new solo album, Page One, and his flight itinerary confirms it. On Friday, he flew to Boston after his Paris honeymoon to perform a Bowers and Wilkins Sound Sessions show at the Met Back Bay, followed by a Met dinner, followed by a Saturday flight to Toronto to sing “Hallelujah” at Jack Layton’s funeral, followed by a return flight to Boston for a performance that same night, followed by a Sunday performance in Maine. Where does he get his energy? He’s performing in New York tonight, and we’re exhausted just reading about his schedule.
Well, it’s the coke, obviously. Remember when he went to jail for that? For the coke?
This is the way a professional musician lives, by traveling
and performing. And not unusual for one to make a special effort to attend the memorial service of a friend. The previous comment was unnecessary.
Really? Aren’t we all over this by now?
