Just now, our favourite existential detective Dustin Hoffman was seen walking with some handlers down Victoria Street, near the stage entrance to the Elgin Theatre where his directorial debut Quartet will screen today at 6 p.m. (at the Elgin’s front entrance on Yonge Street, there’s currently a mad crowd of ticket holders and assorted gawkers for the Silver Linings Playbook premiere). Hoffman, in sunglasses, stayed low-key—as spotter @heatherheinze77 put it, “he’s ‘just like us.’” [Twitter]
