QUOTED: How a bunch of TIFF filmgoers conquered the Scotiabank Theatre stairs

Due to a broken escalator, TIFF volunteers are cheering people as they walk up the Scotiabank stairs, which is both kind and depressing.

Kiva Reardon, a film writer, on the moral support offered to moviegoers left with no choice but to climb the vertigo-inducing stairs. No word if the film buffs who completed the ascent were then given blankets and bottles of Gatorade [@kiva_jane]
