This Sunday, pop superstar Nick Jonas will be playing a show in Toronto—but it won’t be at the Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena or even—god forbid—History. Instead, Jonas will be gracing the stage of Powder Room, a swanky new bar in Yorkville with a maximum capacity of 200 people.
Why, exactly? To promote his upcoming album, Sunday Best (out February 2026), the boy-band heart-throb turned successful solo artist has embarked on a small tour of brunch restaurants for a series he’s dubbed “Sunday Best Brunch,” which kicked off at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen in Las Vegas’s MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in November. The upcoming Toronto show, on December 14, will be the tour’s second stop.

So how did a bar that opened two weeks ago manage to score an intimate concert with a pop legend? According to Liberty Entertainment Group vice-president Luca Di Donato, “Securing Nick Jonas was the culmination of years dedicated to cultivating strong industry relationships and establishing a reputation for reliability and excellence in execution.”
Di Donato—the brains behind King West’s Paris Texas—opened Powder Room, a 4,000-square-foot resto-bar, on November 21. Its swanky reputation and sumptuous decor make it a natural fit to host such a high-profile yet cozy event. “Jonas’ team also recognized Powder Room as the city’s most sought-after venue, with one of the most exclusive doors in town,” Di Donato says.
Jonas’s velvety-smooth vocals will be paired with a brunch menu of equally drool-worthy dishes such as steak and eggs with mushroom hollandaise or goat cheese frittata with lox.

“It’s been incredible getting to play ‘Gut Punch’ for you all these past couple of shows,” Jonas said in an Instagram post. “Sunday Best brunch round two is hitting Toronto on 12.14.”
If you aren’t fast enough to score a brunch ticket, don’t fret. Nick, his brothers Joe and Kevin, and special guest Jesse McCartney will be in Hamilton that same evening for a stop at the TD Coliseum on their Greetings From Your Hometown tour.
Tickets go on sale December 9 here. Anyone who scores a seat will be the envy of both brunchgoers and JoBro fans citywide.
