Guillermo del Toro, director of Cronos, The Devil’s Backbone, Pan’s Labyrinth (if there are grapes sitting on a table, we recommend not eating them) and more, will be coming to the TIFF Bell Lightbox in May to host master classes on the mechanics of Hitchcock’s films. Classes will be conducted on May 7, 8, 15 and 16 and will take place an hour after the screenings of Hitchcock’s Frenzy, North by Northwest, Notorious and Shadow of a Doubt. This is the second time del Toro is in town to teach, since he lectured about L’arcano incantore at TIFF in October.
