A wink from James Franco, a date with Douglas Booth and other fantasies from TIFF fans camped out in front of the Trump Tower

Provided you have the patience, one good star-spotting technique during TIFF is to camp out in front of one of the city’s fanciest hotels and wait for the movie stars staying there to turn up. On Monday, there was an eager crowd outside of the Trump Tower, which is hosting famous people for fine dining as well as luxe accommodation. We asked some young fans what they were hoping for once they locked eyes with their favourite celebrity from behind the barrier. Here, seven Toronto students share their wildest star spotting fantasies, including a shotgun wedding to Douglas Booth and a wink from James Franco.
