We didn’t think that we’d ever get the names Justin Bieber and Broken Social Scene in a headline together, but after the summer’s dearth of 3-D movies, these Canadian musicians are jumping on the bandwagon—no pun intended. Yesterday, Justin Bieber announced via Twitter that he’d be starring in a 3-D biopic about himself to be directed by David Guggenheim, the Oscar-winning director of An Inconvenient Truth. And now Broken Social Scene has released a 3-D video for their single “Forced to Love” (at left). Fortunately, 3-D glasses aren’t required to watch the video: it uses a new scanning technology that makes the band members appear as though they’re three-dimensional ghosts in a dark, old house, recalling the likes of Miss Scarlet and Colonel Mustard in the old Clue video game.
