In 2010, Christopher Plummer portrayed Prospero in a Stratford performance of The Tempest. Now New York cinemas have picked up a recording of the show and will play it in 556 theatres tonight at 7 p.m. New York’s David Edelstein is absolutely gaga for both the performances and Des McAnuff of the Stratford Festival, who co-directed the filming.
