Burton Cummings’ newest addition to his hall of fame: a high school diploma

Burton Cummings' newest addition to his hall of fame: a high school diploma

It’s been a good year for Burton Cummings. First he was named to the Order of Canada; he will become a published author later this year with the release of The Writings of B.L. Cummings; and now the Guess Who front man has finally graduated high school. Cummings blogged about his excitement on his MySpace page today and decried the naysayers dismissing the “honour” in his honorary degree. “Be it ‘authentic’ or ‘honorary,’ it’s more than good enough for me,” he wrote. No kidding—scoring hit records and skipping class is a pretty good deal.
