Voter turnout in Thursday’s provincial election was surprisingly good

—The percentage of eligible voters that cast ballots in Thursday’s provincial election, according to unofficial results. Global News reports that this is the first time since 1990 that voter turnout has actually improved over the previous election. (2011’s figure was 48.2 per cent, an 80-year low for Ontario.)
