I don’t understand the relevance of these hourly wage metrics. Pretty hack-job article.
Good idea, but these TFC guys should be nowhere in the vicinity of Kyle Lowry in terms of value. You describe Bradley’s game as ‘stalled’, yet rank him equivalently with a guy who is arguably the best player at his position in the entire league. Shows a blatant lack of knowledge of the current state of affairs in sports, and just flat out laziness- do a google search.
Yes I agree on all points. TL should not do any articles about sports because clearly it’s not their expertise. I read Sportsnet for that.
Wait, since when is Kessel “incredibly consistent”?
Genesis of this Story:
TL Worker: Hi boss, sorry I had to bring my kid into work today, the sitter canceled at the last minute
TL Editor: No problem it happens. Give your kid these old back issues, this glue stick, a pair of scissors and that sheet of Bristol board, then get into the board room we’ve got to brainstorm story ideas
Half an hour later;
Kid walks into boardroom: Mommy/Daddy I’m done my project can I have some juice
TL Worker: I’m sorry everyone. I told you that this is where the adults are working now go back outside and play some more until…
TL Editor: Wait, that’s perfect, let’s run it. We’ll call it “Sport Gods”
Agree with the comments below. Bush leagues article with vague and general statements.
Stop being lazy……do a Google search. LOL
Gilberto scored 7 goals in 28 appearances….that’s considered high scoring?Who wrote this article and do they know anything about sports, or at least sports in Toronto?
FYI Toronto just had some players skating for Team Canada at the Roller Derby World Cup in Dallas and they make $0 an hour. I can’t wait until we see more acknowledgement of women in sports — and how much they make.
