St. Lawrence String Quartet It’s hard to believe this quartet was founded in 1989—it still sounds as fresh as can be. Now an ensemble in residence at Stanford, the foursome teams up here with pianist James Parker, of the Parker musician clan, for the Brahms Piano Quintet in F Minor; and tackles a Beethoven string quartet (op. 18, no. 4) on its own.
