After hearing that Toronto real estate mogul Mitchell Goldhar paid $1.2 million at auction for Paul Henderson‘s iconic 1972 Team Canada jersey, we couldn’t stop ourselves from speculating what else Goldhar could have bought for that amount to support his favourite sport. Instead of indulging in hockey nostalgia, it might have been more fruitful to help out local losers the Toronto Maple Leafs.
