The 2014 municipal election is now officially underway, and Toronto Life is kicking it off with a subject we hope will inform the campaign: the growing hostility between downtowners and suburbanites. After three years of Rob Ford, the line between his fans and foes feels more like a giant, unbridgeable gorge. The package in our February issue features some of Toronto’s best writers, looking at the sources of (as well as solutions to) our city’s seething factionalism.
