Rodale Inc., owner of Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, Running Times and Organic Gardening magazines, has put out its first-ever list of the top 50 sexiest environmentalists on Rodale.com, and Ryan Gosling has nabbed the number five spot. The company claims Gosling deserves the designation because he advocates for more humane slaughtering methods for fast-food poultry suppliers—he, along with other stars, sent McDonald’s a letter last year asking that the company stop sourcing eggs from factory farms. Gosling joins other celebrities on the top 50 list, like Jessica Alba (2nd place), Kate Middleton (6th), Natalie Portman (14th) and George Clooney (23rd). Check out the entire list, should you wish to compare yourself to famous people doing great things for animals and the planet (Note: Patrick de Rothschild (13th) navigated choppy waters on a boat made entirely of plastic bottles).
