Rob Ford’s latest debacle didn’t command as much attention among U.S. late-night comedians as some of his previous ones, either because of bad timing (the news broke late Tuesday afternoon) or because of general fatigue. The world can only absorb so much mayoral weirdness, and we may finally have hit the saturation point.

Even so, at least one show still made room for the mayor on Wednesday night. David Letterman, who introduced Ford as “apparently out of rehab now” (in fact, Ford never went to rehab, nor did he take a leave of absence), made the mayor’s attempts at Jamaican patois the subject of the night’s top-ten list: “Top Ten Things Rob Ford Might Be Saying in This Video.” The clip is embedded above. Some of Letterman’s fake interpretations actually make more sense than what we believe the mayor actually said.
