Forget transit turmoil and labour talks—the Toronto battle that’s gaining traction outside city limits is Rob Ford’s fight to drop a few pounds. In a bit titled “Belly to Belly With Bloomberg,” the New York Times Magazine observes that Ford’s attempt to goad Michael Bloomberg into losing weight makes no sense since the New York mayor still weighs what he did in college.
