Watch Rob Ford make his ballet debut in The Nutcracker and totally nails his part

Mayor Rob Ford, by now a veteran of the theatre, made his hotly anticipated debut in the National Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker this weekend (his role involved dressing up in colourful doll garb and shooting a cannon—BOOM!). According to Ford’s avowed enemy the Toronto Star, the mayor provided “a convincing display of fist shaking” alongside Councillor Michelle Berardinetti. And we have to hand it to him—he looked genuinely excited on stage, gleefully vaulting into the air, waving his limbs wildly and generally revelling in his 30 seconds of dance-inspired awesomeness.
