Maintaining your company’s brand and trademarks is a vital part of running a business, especially when that business has recently made headlines for starting riots. So when a New Mexico company learned Research in Motion dubbed its new BlackBerry operating system BBX, a name that New Mexico company already uses for its products, it sued RIM—and won.
