The latest proposal calls for more development—and therefore less green space—near the mouth of the Don River, all of which could be jumpstarted in a few years, depending on market conditions and a transit solution. Ford sees this extra dash of development as unequivocal proof that his (widely panned) hotel-and-mega-mall idea was just what the area needed.
