Peter Mansbridge probably makes at least this much money
—The average total compensation paid to the four top-earning on-air personalities at the CBC as of April, according to a document prepared by the broadcaster for a Senate committee. The Ottawa Citizen, which reported on the document late last week, points out that one of the four is almost certainly Peter Mansbridge, whose salary has been something of a mystery.
He’s the best in the business as far as I’m concerned and for those who complain about his salary should look to the US counterparts in this industry. He would be getting five times that at least if he was south of the border.
