Bitten by pit bull ban, Michael Bryant is back in the doghouse (after potential mate refuses to throw him a doggone bone)

Former attorney general Michael Bryant told the Toronto Star he doesn’t regret banning pit bulls in 2005, but he does regret the fallout. “I think some people got demonized by their own neighbours by virtue of owning a pit bull,” he said. “And that was never the intention.” Now his decision has also hurt him personally: the dog lover he’s dating says she “doesn’t know if she can get past it” (although we can’t help but think there may be a bigger elephant in the room).
