Liza Minnelli won’t fit Toronto concert into her busy schedule

First Barbara Walters cancelled her Toronto speaking engagement (it was supposed to take place last Tuesday) because of a bad case of bronchitis—or, more likely, because she was about to undergo heart surgery. Now Liza Minnelli is snubbing Toronto, backing out of her October concert at the Sony Centre due to “scheduling conflicts.” Because six months is apparently not enough time to make alternate arrangements. Burn.
