Lighting up the Bloor viaduct’s “luminous veil” will cost more than anyone thought

—Estimated cost of outfitting the Prince Edward Viaduct’s “luminous veil” with its long-awaited lighting system in time for Toronto’s 2015 Pan Am Games, according to the Globe. The project, originally estimated at $1.8 million, is one of several Pan Am ventures that are in the process of blowing their budgets.
