Federal Liberals are finally having some fun. The Freep reports that the Grits have responded to Harper’s controversial Muskoka-esque media centre—a.k.a. Fake Lakegate—by setting up a phony body of water of their own in Michael Ignatieff’s yard. The $19.95 wading pool is adorned with plastic toys (like Sesame Street‘s Ernie and his rubber ducky), as well as “Stuntwell Day”—a remote-controlled mini-boat with a plastic figurine stuck on it.

Dubbed Fake Lake Harper, the pool is outside Stornoway in Ottawa, complete with a “No Diving” sign, presumably a warning about upcoming elections.
