First hair, now footwear—Justin Bieber’s belongings seem to be quite a hit on the charity circuit these days. The Biebs recently donated a single Nike sneaker, in his signature purple, of course, to Stratford Northwestern Secondary School. The proceeds from the auction will help Bieber’s former school raise money for a broadcasting and communications studio (which couldn’t be more fitting). The size 7 1/2 sneaker features a few scuffs and some gravel and dirt, as well as a scrawled black autograph. In case anyone questioned the authenticity of the shoe, it comes complete with a letter attesting to its authenticity. The singular shoe sold on eBay for $5,500, a price that plummeted from $12, 400 on the last day. Apparently, some of the higher bids weren’t legitimate. Leave it to those over-enthusiastic beliebers.
