Jimmy Kimmel’s latest Rob Ford joke is a bit tasteless

One of the mayor’s more endearing qualities is his almost childlike enthusiasm for sports, and so there’s something a little melancholy about Jimmy Kimmel using this footage of Ford’s out-of-control reaction to Thursday’s women’s hockey win in Sochi to make what amounts to a fat joke. In an alternate universe, a young Rob Ford used his family trust fund to buy the Toronto Argonauts back in 2000, rather than run for city council. Alternate-universe Ford is almost certainly a happier man.
