Although one Maple Leafhad trouble finding an appropriate Halloween costume, there were still plenty of great disguises this year. We rounded up the best of those donned by local politicians and celebrities, as well as our favourite Toronto-centric costumes from Twitter (including a baby dressed up in a Toronto Life–approved get-up).
Rocker and Ajax native Deryck Whibley and his girlfriend dressed up as his ex-wife Avril Lavigne and her fiancé Chad Kroeger (Kroeger wasn’t too keen on the costume)
Onto the celebrity round. Margaret Atwood in zombie teeth, a wig and a very stylish shirt printed with cocktail paraphernalia. What is she? Your guess is as good as ours.
This OCADU costume worn by @Robonto got the Reddit seal of approval
Was Rob dressed as “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named”?
